Last night my class and I spent most of the time discussing and learning how to recognize those underlying currents that surface just when you want your creations to come to you and how you will know, by the fact that no matter how hard you try to have a creation come in you are only receiving maybe up to 75%. Has that happened to you? What do you say to yourself when that happens? Can you sit and write down right now how many times that has happened to you?
When the world looks beautiful and everything is going your way do you now take the time to find out what you did, how you were feeling and the people you met and opportunities that came your way? This is one of the most important times to go back take the time to evaluate the whats, wheres and whys.
It is very interesting for me to watch when a bunch of friends get together and spend the whole time together trying to make the others responsibility for their feelings. What does it mean to hang out with the right crowd, if the right crowd makes everyone feel so very wrong?
When you are learning something new about yourself, do you take the time to study the old and the new of you? This is a time and space where you will become most creative. As that excitement of learning something wonderful about yourself is swirling around you in the most glorious way.
The last time I was talking about instant gratification, I was trying to express how it is such a waste of our time and energy to desire to have things come so quickly. There is such a joy to have as we take the walk to experience something in our lives. To feel every step of the way. Each different and unique feeling as we get closer and closer to our hearts desire. Continue reading
Why would we not want to tell ourselves the truth? I think we would all most emphatically say, “Of course we want the truth!” Yet I have seen time and time again, when given a choice in the beginning of the introduction of self accountability and responsibility, we choose to believe in the lie; the story that we have told ourselves about our life. Wow! This blew me away when I first started teaching!
Do we want to be happy all the time? I guess that would be the first question I would ask myself. What does it mean to be happy? I cannot go any farther until I know this answer. I, of course, have asked this question of myself many times. Mostly when I have had the most challenges. Because I have come to an understanding that what I am feeling today is what I do experience tomorrow. Continue reading
What do we do when we have lots of feedback from our loved ones telling us to STOP CHANGING?
This is a question that I have been forced to look at every time I begin to come to a new understanding for myself. It seems that those closest to me all want to come at me for different reasons. They panic, they want to know why I have to change. They claim things were good as they were. They whine about not being able to make me happy. They say, “I do all these things to change and you are just never happy!” Well I would like you to think about something please. Continue reading
When I began reading and read about passion, I wondered at the word passion being used. So I started listening to see when and where it was being used. I read it in books of poetry and books of philosophy. I have heard it used in self help books or by training session to improve your productivity in what ever field you are trying to better yourself at.
Yet I do not hear it used in those every day conversations. The ones that we have with each other. We do not talk of the passion we have for our jobs, or children, or even, our spouses, significant others in our lives. I do not even hear many speaking about the passion they feel for their spiritual growth. It does not matter even in how we are going about that spiritual growth. The word passion is not used.
