Stories: anger-vs-happiness

As I have worked with clients at Life Learning Center of Self I have begun using the term ‘Stories’. My interpretation of this word is our life experiences. As I work with a client we come to a space where an understanding comes that to make choices has always been our right.

Yet not all of us have found a way of being conscious of when we choose something in our lives. As we get to know one another it allows for the discussions on, ” How to recognize even as a small child our choices” for ourselves. Continue reading

Why have we not recognized we made the Choice that got us Here?

How many of us are shown, from our earliest memories, that we make choices that causes the next physical experience? How many of us, when that physical experience feels really bad, look over the whole event and find where we could… and maybe should have made a different choice. Continue reading

“Do I know my story has changed?”

What happens in our lives that let’s us know that by changing our stories we are now on the right track? The answer is so different for each and every one of us. This is why when we go outside of ourselves for validation we are getting advice that does not quite fit our story.

I have found that our life itself tells us exactly where we are standing when we begin to change our stories.

What I mean by this is we are each different, even if slightly. We are because each one of us feels differently about all things.  We may agree with one another but that does not mean we agree fully. That means we are all in different degrees of understanding. Continue reading
