So hopefully you are now understanding that in your contemplation of your life you look inward not outward. What I am talking about is really instead of looking at why someone else did something to you to hurt your emotions, you must begin to ask yourself questions about why you feel the way you do about the interaction that you are feeling bad about.
Why does a new person in your life make you feel so wonderful? The whole reason that new people can come into your life is because within that process of being you, you are making conscious choices to have change in your life.
Once you begin to see the value of looking at your emotions and learning to use them to eliminate the prejudices that you have about the choices you are making, then you can truly begin to take charge and start to make choices that have your heart feel ease… not the dis ease that you have learned to cope with.
Why is it so hard for us to admit the truth? Why can we not say, “I can not do that“. A very simple statement, right? Yet, when are are asked to participate in something that we know right away we do not desire to do, why can’t we simply say those words… “I just can not do this for you.”
What was and/or is the reason that we decided to accept instant gratification? I have been pondering this idea. This is hard for me to imagine why we would want instant gratification. Maybe that is because with all the time I have taken to contemplate what my choices and action steps are going to mean to me, I have learned the art of appreciation for the final outcome of any creation that I have happen in my life. For me it was when my life seemed to be falling apart and yet, I could see that there should be no reason for it. When my internal peace did not match what I was seeing with my physical eyes.
As I began to read and study about the metaphysical world I could see that you could have and should have beauty and peace in your every day world. I was seeing that it began with my state of mind. I repeat, it begins with a state of mind!
That is how we begin to digest, and feel. It is also where we get lost into the emotion of things and never get past that part in our lives. I have found that there is a sequence, a mathematical equation that is followed to have harmony and peace. Yet, we never follow the sequence through to the end to see if we like what we have started. We were never taught that there has to be a conclusion of our lesson. Without that we do not know where to make the next choice. Now I am sure you are asking what does this have to do with mind chatter? Continue reading
I think this word stress is the most used in our vocabulary. We throw it in without really looking at what the word means to us. Some days we have lots going on so we have this adrenaline pumping. We just have to learn that the adrenaline helps in our jobs when we need to focus on lots of things coming at us. Continue reading
When we wake in the morning, do we smile to ourselves? Are we happy to be here? Can we get up with a true reason to be here? To find a passion that allows us to feel these things should be the only reason we exist. Why, you ask? Well I believe that without our very own will to stand up and smile and be happy just because, why should we stay? Continue reading
When I began my journey on awakening to the truth of this Universe, I can say that expanding was not always what it was cracked up to be. I read lots of self-help and spiritual and even new age books. Yet, when I began, it only felt like my life was falling apart even more than what I had believed it to be.
Yet for some reason I had the fortitude to keep going. I am so very glad that I did. Throughout the years of the dedication that I gave myself, which I can only describe as a yearning even when I felt so bad, all I wanted was to give up. Really just give up the ghost so to speak and go back home. Continue reading
