I was talking to a close friend yesterday and she asked me how I kept the passion that I feel for my life and the Universal Truth. I get such great joy, spending time with those who, as I do, look for the kind of life that brings them peace, joy and tranquility in their every day moments.
We have a holiday called Patriots day and it is to celebrate and come together as a Nation for a sad day in our history. We hear speeches from the survivors and family members of those lost in the tragedy of that day. We, as a Nation, should stand up and remember, for it is in the remembering that we make other choices.
Ahhh…. that first bloom of love. The one that was so intense that it just rocked your world. Well, you can feel this for yourself when you begin to stand up for yourself in the quiet way of the simple truth that you really do get to. That you do not have to fight your way out of anything .
When we wake in the morning, do we smile to ourselves? Are we happy to be here? Can we get up with a true reason to be here? To find a passion that allows us to feel these things should be the only reason we exist. Why, you ask? Well I believe that without our very own will to stand up and smile and be happy just because, why should we stay? Continue reading
Passion is a word that leads to great thought.
As I looked around at what I was doing and began to really look at the lives of people around me I was quite surprised to see that so many people do not expect to ever experience true passion in their lives. I could not imagine thinking that I would not have the experience of true passion in my life just for me. Continue reading
When I began reading and read about passion, I wondered at the word passion being used. So I started listening to see when and where it was being used. I read it in books of poetry and books of philosophy. I have heard it used in self help books or by training session to improve your productivity in what ever field you are trying to better yourself at.
Yet I do not hear it used in those every day conversations. The ones that we have with each other. We do not talk of the passion we have for our jobs, or children, or even, our spouses, significant others in our lives. I do not even hear many speaking about the passion they feel for their spiritual growth. It does not matter even in how we are going about that spiritual growth. The word passion is not used. As we look at this word, PASSION, we would think that it would be an easy word to describe in ones head. I have spent more than a few minutes to feel this word within my being. Saying ‘passion’, over and over in my head, trying to feel this word in more than just the first two ways that we feel this word. Continue reading
This subject is so fascinating for me. I found in the dictionary 12 definitions of passion. Yet they did not seem to touch on the quest of Passion for self. I think it is the kind of passion that you read in story books. The quest that damn near kills you before you get to the end.
Do you have to have a near death experience to come to an understanding to look for passion? I do not think I have had a near death experience. So, does that leave me out of the running to find how to create for myself in the very center of myself, the core of me, through passion??? Continue reading
What is today?
To me today is a new moment in time to discover something new about this world that we live in.
I get new insights about myself and how I interject into this physical place around me. I have become fascinated with how if I just pose a question and then start writing, before I know it I have such wonderful insights about myself and those around me.
It happens so quietly and so quickly.
