This is a very interesting subject. I would like to think that each and every one of us wishes to always make a change in our lives for the better. The ability to push our own boundaries is probably the most difficult, as it comes with the contrast of someone or something we don’t desire so we can see if we come to the complete change that we desire. When you have those days that you just want to lie down and give up what do you do? What can we do to relieve the stress of children, bills, work, spouses? Of traffic on a crowded highway, when there is no movement at all and the guy behind you thinks beeping his or her horn is going to make the cars move magically in front of you.
Can you and do you take these things in stride? Or do they drive you instantly into wanting to scream and tear your hair out. Continue reading
I am sure that anyone that has walked the path of learning about yourself in their spiritual path knows that as we face the changes we must make we can be overwhelmed. Asking ourselves, “How can I do this??! I so want my life to change but can I go ahead just for myself?” Continue reading
Passion is a word that leads to great thought.
As I looked around at what I was doing and began to really look at the lives of people around me I was quite surprised to see that so many people do not expect to ever experience true passion in their lives. I could not imagine thinking that I would not have the experience of true passion in my life just for me. Continue reading
There are many levels of understanding, it is like a spiral staircase. As each of us in our individual walk moves forward we have new energies that we must get familiar with. It has to be a conscious effort on our parts to keep in the forefront of our thoughts this new energy. So we can get used to having it be a part of our new existence. Continue reading
I have had a very interesting conversation with a woman today. She had commented that she had consciously put up walls, so that someone would come and tear it down. I commented back that the power actually is in our own hands. We should not expect someone else to come and prove that they are listening to us. Her answer was she was listening but……. I think the hardest thing about having true communications with others is not getting lost in questioning what are facts and what is fiction with our stories and other peoples stories.
How many of us are shown, from our earliest memories, that we make choices that causes the next physical experience? How many of us, when that physical experience feels really bad, look over the whole event and find where we could… and maybe should have made a different choice. Continue reading
When we come to this point in our lives we are very excited. Are we ready to change how we look at the experiences that we have had in the past? To start looking at them as the person that directed how the story begins ? To ask what characters we’re going to put in the plot, the sub-plot and the ending?
We tend to feel that we did not have a choice in the characters in our stories. Yet how would it make you feel to discover that all of the people who you have had in your life were always by your choice. Now, are you going to begin to judge yourself on the choices you made? This is where you can stop yourself before you get lost. Some of us can get lost for years right here. Continue reading
What happens in our lives that let’s us know that by changing our stories we are now on the right track? The answer is so different for each and every one of us. This is why when we go outside of ourselves for validation we are getting advice that does not quite fit our story.
I have found that our life itself tells us exactly where we are standing when we begin to change our stories.
What I mean by this is we are each different, even if slightly. We are because each one of us feels differently about all things. We may agree with one another but that does not mean we agree fully. That means we are all in different degrees of understanding. Continue reading
