What do we do when we find ourselves in a place that feels like we will never, ever be able to get out? When every breath that we take feels like it will be our last? When we go to bed and we cannot sleep because we can’t stop thinking about the thing that has us trapped in this hole we call our life? How can we get ourselves out of the hole?
Well, when I found myself in that hole, I had this deep feeling that I had to find out how to feel my way through. How to see the sunshine. I remember looking up at the sky knowing it was blue but my eyes could not see it. I could not feel the sunshine on my face. Yet, something inside of me said, you must fight, you must keep going because I had to discover that the moment I took the first step to acceptance that I had made a choice, that I was the one allowing myself to accept this hole, only then was I able to see I could take the steps necessary to climb out of the hole.
Choices I had made had gotten me into this hole. Now please do not tell me you do not have the strength to change your hole. Because you had the strength to take hold of the thing that took you away from your power. Your strength is just one step, my friend, just one step each moment to get back to the whole of you. The parts that you simply have been hiding from your self.
You will be surprise how once you take the first step to find the power within that each step will bring you closer to the truth. The truth that is within each and every one of us. You just have to take the first step. The first step to acceptance saying, “Yes, I took the step that brought me here. I took the step to walk away from the truth. I did so to find me.”
To really find the piece that only by walking into pain, fear, sorrow can we find the truth about ourselves.
Walk with hope, trust, and faith that when you accept that this has all been about you for you, you will then walk back to strength, peace, and love.
For all of us who dared to believe that we are the ones really in charge of it all… Come back home.!
I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Have a wonderful day and into the evening tide…
