What happens in our lives that let’s us know that by changing our stories we are now on the right track? The answer is so different for each and every one of us. This is why when we go outside of ourselves for validation we are getting advice that does not quite fit our story.
I have found that our life itself tells us exactly where we are standing when we begin to change our stories.
What I mean by this is we are each different, even if slightly. We are because each one of us feels differently about all things. We may agree with one another but that does not mean we agree fully. That means we are all in different degrees of understanding. Continue reading →
I was so excited as I began to see that I could re-write a story in my life. So what does this mean to me? This means that I go to the core of who I am. Then I look at what I have said about the things that have happened to me. I take a very personal attitude about this. We can claim…… Continue reading →
Once we can see that we have total charge of our thoughts and our stories then we can truly begin to re-write our stories and change the process that we used in the past that allowed the thoughts we had about our conditions. Continue reading →
Once we have come to a place where we are no longer sustaining happiness in our every day lives, we must stop and take stock of where our thoughts and feelings are. It is right here where we should begin if and only if we need real change in our lives.
It is not easy to change in a single day. Thoughts and feelings that we have continued to keep, whether we wish to admit to ourselves that they are holding us back or not, have become our dearest friends. Continue reading →
When I began reading and read about passion, I wondered at the word passion being used. So I started listening to see when and where it was being used. I read it in books of poetry and books of philosophy. I have heard it used in self help books or by training session to improve your productivity in what ever field you are trying to better yourself at.
Yet I do not hear it used in those every day conversations. The ones that we have with each other. We do not talk of the passion we have for our jobs, or children, or even, our spouses, significant others in our lives. I do not even hear many speaking about the passion they feel for their spiritual growth. It does not matter even in how we are going about that spiritual growth. The word passion is not used. As we look at this word, PASSION, we would think that it would be an easy word to describe in ones head. I have spent more than a few minutes to feel this word within my being. Saying ‘passion’, over and over in my head, trying to feel this word in more than just the first two ways that we feel this word. Continue reading →
When I talk about standing in a feeling, what do I mean?
So often people talk about their feelings yet when they are asked what their feelings are they answer by saying,” I do not really know what my feelings are.” Why is that? Is it possible, in the true sense of feeling, to use ‘I think’ and ‘feeling’ in the same sentence? Continue reading →
This subject is so fascinating for me. I found in the dictionary 12 definitions of passion. Yet they did not seem to touch on the quest of Passion for self. I think it is the kind of passion that you read in story books. The quest that damn near kills you before you get to the end.
Do you have to have a near death experience to come to an understanding to look for passion? I do not think I have had a near death experience. So, does that leave me out of the running to find how to create for myself in the very center of myself, the core of me, through passion??? Continue reading →
To me today is a new moment in time to discover something new about this world that we live in.
I get new insights about myself and how I interject into this physical place around me. I have become fascinated with how if I just pose a question and then start writing, before I know it I have such wonderful insights about myself and those around me.
